SECTIONAL DOLLARS

Punters love to clearly see how much money is being bet on runners and nothing shows this information more clearly than the Sectional Dollars page. Each value represents the approximate total amount wagered on each runner between each update time. This format clearly shows what volume of money moved a price and punters watch it intently looking for what some perceive as lay-offs into the pool or large wagers indicating hidden value in a runner. Some punters follow this so closely that they simply would not bet without it and have to resort in finding home remedies or do calculations of price versus pool liquidity against other runners to try and identify the information they need. This page gives them exactly what they are looking for, colour coded and plain and simple for all to see. Without doubt this has historically been our most requested feature by punters.
